The entire
community in Gilbert has evolved around
the riders
|
The bike riders haven’t been left out as
miles of new single line trail have been added
to keep things exciting for them. You fit in down
here no matter what you ride or whereyou come
from and the growth of the trail system proves
this year after year. With sustained growth since
its inception, the hard work of volunteers and
employees of the system have something to really
be proud of.
The entire community has evolved around servicing
the riders and their trips to the regions, from
hotels and motels to the law enforcement in the
region that works in partnership with riders and
the entire system. One rider from New Jersey commented
to me that where he is from you ran if you saw
the law, but here at Hatfield, its nothing to
ride up and ask for directions!

Several manufactures attended this event as they
offered demo rides and information to potential
customers. Can Am had the biggest presence as its
rig filled the events main area. After some safety
instruction, a short trail ride was taken so that
the companies ATV’s could be experienced first
hand. Its this type of dedication that is making
this sport continue to grow even in hard times,
and is an awesome display of how things have changed
over the years.
The best advice I can give to you if you are
considering a trip down for next season’s
event is to plan ahead and get there in time to
enjoy the entire 5 days of fun. Not every day
will be spent on the trail however you don’t
want to miss the things that make this a special
weekend!
