2012 Kawasaki Dealers Meeting
– Orlando, Florida
::Continued::
The 2012 Kawasaki Teryx4 750 has
many features that I personally think that will
make it a hit in the Side-by-Side market. Features
like first to come stock with doors, Electronic
Power Steering which give the Teryx4 an aftermarket
look and increase safety. Another items that
Kawasaki chose to install were 2 - 12v hook-ups
front and rear as well as a cup holder for each
passenger. I don’t know about you, but
I get so frustrated sometimes when you’re
riding in a car that doesn’t have enough
cup holders or outlets to plug to charge or
cell phone or iPod!

4x4 UTV |
Comparing the cockpit of both
the original Kawasaki Teryx and the Teryx4,
the Teryx4 has a lot more room and you feel
more comfortable than in the 2-seater Teryx.
Even in the back seat of the Teryx4 you don’t
feel cramped. Kawasaki really did a nice job
designing the Teryx4 for the family and we can’t
wait to get our hands on one to test it out!

Product Showcase |
Once we finished up with photos
at in the product showcase, several members
of the media took a short bus ride to Orlando
Grand Prix Indoor Karting to do some racing.
I have raced go-karts inside before but these
go-karts were electric powered. I had my doubts
about how fast they would be. As we suited up
we each got assigned to a kart and power cords
were unhooked from there charging stations.
Each kart was controlled by one remote that
the karting staff controlled. The karts were
set to about a quarter throttle for the pace
lap and then with a touch of a button the race
coordinator gave us full power.

Prix Indoor Karting features two tracks,
a Grad Prix Track & a Monster Energy
Sponsored Drift track |
To my surprise the electric karts
are pretty fast! After a couple rounds of racing,
UTVUnderground.com owner Joey DiGiovanni and
I went head to head on the Grad Prix track.
We battled back and fourth for first position
before crossing the finish line.
After a long day of product intros
and indoor go-kart racing is was time to wind
down and head back to the hotel for dinner and
departures in the morning. In all, the 2011
Kawasaki Dealers Meeting was a trip to remember.
With two new models introduced we are looking
forward to hitting the trails and putting them
to the test. Be sure to check back as soon as
well will be doing a full ride review on both
the 2012 Kawasaki Teryx4 750 4x4 UTV & Brute
Force 300 Utility ATV.
