Sedona, AZ - Sedona, Arizona is
home to some of the best views and preserved history
in the Southwest. With its many rock formations,
ancient Native American ruins, and mountain ranges.
Sedona is one of the most popular travel destinations
in the US. The area around Sedona also has also
played as back drops for most of the western movies
in Hollywood. To get around Sedona and truly check
out all of it’s breath taking beauty an ATV
or Side-by-Side is a must! When we first
arrived in Sedona we were pleasantly greeted with
its awe-inspiring beauty. I was pretty surprised
how stunning Sedonda was. When I think of Arizona,
I just think of the scenary just being dry, flat,
a full of cacti! I have never been to Arizona,
but was I sure wrong about the terrain!
 |
The
small town of Sedona, Arizona is surrounded
by some of the most beautiful scenery in
America, and it is also has a great network
of ATV & SxS trails, so we headed to
Arizona to check out several of the trails
over a few days |
A short drive though up-town Sedona gives you
a feeling of just how many people flock to this
area to enjoy the nice weather and the picturesque
views. Many stores and restaurants line each side
of the street offering good-eats and unique gifts
including many handmade items created by the Navajo
and Hopi Native Americans.

During
our stay in Sedona, we stayed at the four
star rated Amara
Resort & Spa, which is conveniently
located downtown, so all there are dozens
of restaurants and shops within a walking
distance, and it was less than a mile from
Sedona Off-Road Center |
Sedona has many hotels and resorts to choose
from but we chose to stay at the Armana Resort
and Spa. Rated at 4 stars, the Armana Resort and
Spa offers spacious rooms with balconies in each
room that overlook Snoopy Rock and the surrounding
area.

|
We
were really impressed with the Amara Resort
with its extremely comfortable beds and
friendly staff. Also, it is located right
along the Oak Creek, which provides a great
spot to go and relax in the morning or evening
after your ride. The Amara also has been
renovated for 2012, so there is a brand
new pool overlooking the red rock cliffs
and it was affordably priced for a 4 Star
hotel, which is an added bonus for its location
and accommodations |
After getting settled in, we contacted one of
the many ATV & SxS rental companies in the
area called Sedona Off-Road center, and they were
more than happy to set us up for an epic ride
through Sedona. Sedona Off- Road Center offers
both ATV & Side-by-Sides rentals. For their
ATV fleet they choose to use Arctic Cat TRV two-up
utility ATVs. Their bulletproof engines and ability
to take along a passenger has made it a valuable
asset to their Off-Road fleet.

We
hooked up with Mark Ranges at Sedona
Off-Road Center for Arctic Cat Utility
ATV & TomCar Rental to explore the trails
of Sedona & we were impressed with Mark’s
knowledge of the area as he helped us plan
out our day of riding. Rentals start at
just $125 for a half-day ATV rental. |
Sedona Off-Road Center uses Tom Car Side-by-Sides,
which are available in both two and four-seat
models. Created in Israel, the Tom Car was first
made to be used by the Israeli military as a light-weight
and durable service vehicle.
|
|
It
was our first opportunity to drive a Tom
Car SxS, which are produced in Israel &
they are available in a 2 seat and 4 seat
models |
The Tom Car’s durable design has made it
a prefect choice for many rental companies around
the world. The Tom Car is very popular in Sedona
as the United States Tom Car headquarters are
located just two hours away in Phoenix, AZ.
