New from the ground up, the 2013 Can-Am Outlander MAX 1000 receives all the second-generation Outlander features and
characteristics, but also has an 8-inch longer wheelbase, new passenger seat with Dynamic Passenger Comfort (DPC) and
a Convertible Rack System (CRS). The end result is the most powerful and versatile rec-utility ATV in the Can-Am lineup. The
new-MAX family displays the typical Can-Am ATV traits, including the trademark performance, exceptional handling and
industry-leading ergonomics, while also taking the two-rider experience to the next level. It is available in four trim levels
(DPS / XT / XT-P and Limited) in several colors for 2013.
BRP engineers took an innovative approach to all aspects of the frame of this new-generation Outlander MAX. The
results are principles of design we call Geometric Contact Control. This allows the chassis of the next-generation Outlander
MAX, with its 59-inch wheelbase, to deliver the hardcore performance the Can-Am brand is known for, yet enhance the overall
comfort of the vehicle at all levels of riding for both a single rider and with a passenger.
With its innovative ride quality and unmatched passenger-friendly design, the Outlander MAX ATV is ideal for singlerider
adventures and two-rider cruises. The removable rear seat has been redesigned to better accommodate a passenger
and now features a new shape, reshaped handles and increased support The MAX model's rear footrests were also improved.
The seat is also more flexible, form fitting, taller and sits higher to provide enhanced passenger comfort levels. When not in
use, the seat can be removed and replaced with a handy water-resistant, CRS storage bin. The rear cargo rack is accessible
even when outfitted with the rear seat or the removable storage bin.
The next generation Outlander MAX is powered by a strong 976cc Rotax V-Twin, 82-HP horsepower and features a
power-to-weight ratio to keep riders (and passengers) entertained. The stylish Outlander MAX 1000 offers precision handling
and performance that mesh well with its newfound comfort levels, revitalized ergonomics, improved conveniences and nocompromise
makeup.
