2013 Can-Am Outlander 1000 X MR EFI 4x4 Utility ATV Features

Relocated radiator
Located on the front of the ATV, the Can-Am Outlander X mr's radiator ATV is kept out of the muddy water and wears a protective, vented cover, ensuring all-day rides in the deep mud.

Integrated CVT intake and exhaust system
BRP has made sure that critical components like the CVT exhaust and engine intake are located as high as possible on the ATV. We placed them in the pod directly in front of the handlebars, in a centralized location, to keep them from the muddy water as well.

14-inch (35.6cm) ITP cast-aluminum wheels
The tall, ITP cast-aluminum wheels and stylish SS wheel hubcap work in tandem to give the Outlander X mr an aggressive look.

30-inch (76.2cm) Gorilla Axle Silverback tires
The proven 30-inch Gorilla Axle Silverback tires were chosen for their exceptional mud-riding characteristics. Developed by Gorilla Axle for mud riding and racing, these tires have been tested in the deepest mud holes of east Texas and Louisiana. With a tall lug and aggressive tread pattern the tires offer superb mud performance, yet a smooth ride when traveling to the mud hole.

Outlander X mr-specific graphics
For 2013, the Can-Am Outlander 1000 X mr wears an updated black-and-yellow graphics scheme with white highlights and sponsor logos. A premium, embroidered gripper seat cover is designed to integrate seamlessly with the plastic and graphics for both a custom look and feel. The 2013 X mr also comes with the optional NEXT G-1 Vista camouflage finish for the ultimate machine to take you to any hunting spot.

Mud-riding foot pegs
The Can-Am Outlander 1000 X mr has two sets of foot pegs that offer maximum flexibility when riding in the ever-changing mud landscape. Raised, aggressive steel foot pegs reside in a more traditional spot, but the larger, rear foot platforms are flatter and angled to allow the rider to reposition his weight when the front end up floats up in deep mud holes.

Handlebar wind deflectors
To match the X mr ATV's racing heritage and competitive nature, color-matched handlebar wind deflectors were added.

Aluminum taper-profile handlebar with square pad
Aluminum 6061-T6 taper-profile handlebars with square racing pad give this competition-ready ATV a look that's both appropriate and comfortable.

Visco-Lok QE front differential
Progressively transfers power from a slipping front wheel to the gripping one – automatically with no buttons to push or levers to pull. Plus, there's no wheel hop or driveline wind-up so the system is totally transparent to the driver and extremely easy to steer. Can lock up to 100 percent with no rev or speed limiter. All DPS-equipped models come with the Visco-Lok QE calibration giving an even quicker engagement of the front differential. This differential, unlike some competitor's differentials, does not have a speed or rev limiter.

More-powerful magneto
The X mr package provides a more-powerful magneto with 625 watts of power output.

Front and rear bumpers
Rugged front and rear bumpers protect this powerful mud machine in the toughest of conditions.

Rear MULTI -FUNCTION RACK
This Outlander can tote 200 pounds (90kg) on the back rack and is LinQ system compatible.

Digitally Encoded Security System (D.E.S.S.)
D.E.S.S., the ATV Industry's first standard anti-theft device, requires an electronic code in the key to match a code in the vehicle in order to operate the vehicle.
