Mud-riding enthusiasts demand an ATV that not only dominates in the best mud-riding parks across North America, but
looks impressive doing it. Replacing the successful Outlander 800R X mr, the all-new 2013 Can-Am Outlander 1000 X mr
is purpose-built to conquer every mud hole it encounters. With its menacing façade, innovative mud-specific setup and
unequaled power, the 1000 X mr is as refined and it is tough.
The new Surrounding Spar Technology (SST) G2 chassis, borrowed from the updated 2013 Outlander MAX line, enhances
the 1000 X mr ATV's comfort and performance levels. Dynamic Power Steering creates almost effortless handling, at any
speed and in even the stickiest of situations. BRP engineers and designers worked with one of the most recognized names
in ATV mud performance: Gorilla Axle. Its expertise in mud riding makes the Outlander 1000 X mr the ultimate in a mud
machine. No matter if it's for a recreational challenge or competitive racing, the 2013 Outlander 1000 X mr is built to win,
and win over the mud crowd.
The new X mr uses the new Outlander MAX platform and long 59-inch wheelbase for proven performance in the deepest
mud. The muscular, 82-HP 976cc Rotax® V-Twin engine supplies ample power for churning through the slop. We also use a
new, larger radiator on the front rack, so it's as high on the ATV as possible and out of the mud and water for optimal temperature
control. The CVT intake, CVT exhaust and engine air intake are also located as high as possible in the machine to
keep mud and water out of important components and to keep the X mr going even in the toughest conditions. Then Can-Am
added a complete Air Controlled Suspension system with FOX shocks so riders can select a preferred ride height: higher for
getting to the mud hole and lower for riding to and from the mud. Can-Am adds premium ITP wheels and 30-inch Gorilla Axle
Silverback tires for a complete mud-riding package.
The new model year also brought other key updates compared to the previous generation X mr model. These changes
include the redesigned X-package graphics and sponsor logos, reconfigured foot mounts, ITP SS wheel caps, analog / digital
gauge package, as well as the optional NEXT G-1 Vista camouflage finish.
