JB Racing / Liquid Wrench’s Maddison Guyer claimed
her first overall win of the season in the Schoolgirl
(13-17) class with a 1-2 finish, which boosted
her into the points lead with the round one winner,
Kaitlin Gibson, skipping the trip to Texas. “In
my Schoolgirl class on Saturday my seat came off
in the third corner, but I wasn't going to let
that stop me. I raced the whole race without my
seat and still managed to win the moto. On Sunday,
I rode a smart race and managed to get the overall
in that class. This was my first win of the season,
and I can't thank all the people that helped me
this weekend to achieve this,” said Guyer.
