Pro TQRA racer, Johnny Hale had a good start in the number two spot in the first moto and tried to hold off Thomas Brown, but fell back to the number three spot.

“I tried to hold off Thomas but he got me. I tried to stay with him and David but they were flying out there,” said Hale, who held off the rest of the pack and claimed a solid third place finish.

For moto two, Hale was in the number three spot off the start and kept the pace right behind Haagsma and Brown.

“I was staying with them for most of the moto but I ended up getting arm pump pretty bad towards the end and I fell off the pace a bit, but I still finished in third,” said Hale, who claimed the final spot on the podium.  

Blake Granger, who was piloting the #2 Yamaha YFZ450R, made the trip from Lafayette, LA and put together two solid motos for a fourth place finish overall.

Ruby Davis, who races the Northwest Quadcross series in Washington state, was also able to hold off the rest of the pack in both motos to round out the top five overall.

The 2014 Caleb Moore Memorial race was a great event once again and a great way to honor a fallen rider who lived for pushing the limits of himself and the world of ATV freestyle.
