Best in the Desert - Silver State 300 - SxS Race Report
::Continued::

Branden Sims and Tim Krauss of the #1913 Lonestar Racing Polaris RZR won first two rounds of the series and looked as if they would be heading to another victory after holding the lead for half of the race, but that wouldn’t be the case. With only 50 miles left to go the team broke a rim, which was exactly what happened to them at the last round, and they fell back. “This is what happened last time. We led for most of the race and ended up breaking a rim. We will get the issue worked out and hopefully next round will be a win for us,” said Sims.

The number 1919 Jagged X UTV piloted by Brandon Schueler and Blake Van De Loo were running in the top five and came away with a fourth place finish. “We had a good start in about 4th, and we held it there and finished the race,” said Schueler.

The #1902 team of Jeff Obering and Darren Gillhouse put in a strong performance to round out the top five in the Pro Side-by-Side class even without a rear tire.

“We came around a corner and clipped a rock and we could feel the car start to sway back and forth. We were only five miles out so we figured we would just ride it in and finish. Other than that, everything worked great and we had a good race,” said Jeff Obering.
