State 300 - ATV Race Report

Jeremy Gray and his team ran strong and were
able to hang on for a fourth place finish. Cody
Mitchell and Alex Ortiz were in the hunt for a
top three finish but a blown bearing carrier put
them back to a fifth place finish.

Christopher Peatross braved the Silver State
300 in the Ironman Expert class and came away
with the win. Peatross completed the race with
a time of 12:49:29.854, almost fifteen minutes
ahead of second. Carlos Valencia stayed the course
and claimed the number two spot in the Ironman
class and Thomas Reck rounded out the top three.

In the quad Expert class, Steve Carver and his
team took the win by just under three minutes
ahead of Charles Borges, who claimed second.

The next round of the Best in the Desert series
is the General Tire Vegas to Reno, on August 13-15th,
and there should be an intense battle for the
win in the BITD Pro Quad class.
