Michael Coburn also took the win in the Pro-am class. Coburn grabbed the holeshot and led from start to finish despite pressure from Brad Riley. “It was a really good weekend for me and everything went pretty smooth. Riley kept right on Coburn’s grab bar and cruised to a second place finish. “There was some great racing this season. Everyone stepped up their game and it made things pretty interesting,” stated Coburn, who ended his season in third in Pro-am points.

There were only five points separating Can-Am’s Chuckie Creech and Brad Riley going into the final round in the Pro-am class Creech, who was leading Riley in points, would have to finish in no less than one position behind Riley in order to hold on to his second place points position.

Creech charged hard and despite Riley getting ahead of him, Creech was able to hang on for a third place finish, which allowed him to hold on to his second place status in Pro-am points. “The competition has been tough this season, but I’ve had a great time racing and I’m pretty happy with how everything has worked out,” said Creech.

Harold Goodman had over a 30 point lead going into the final round and had secured the Pro-am championship at the previous round. Given his situation, Goodman decided to take it easy in the Pro-am class and cruised to a fifth place finish. “I wrapped up the championship earlier so I just decided to take it easy and get in some seat time. I really liked the track, so it was just a lot of fun for me,” said Goodman.
