Extreme Dirt Track Racing Pro-Am Report
::Continued::

In the Pro-Am class, there were only twelve riders compared to the eighteen of the Pro class however there was still as much action and spirited racing on the track as the Pro class.

Once again it was Houser Racing / MAXXIS Tires / DASA / O’Neil / EKS Brand’s Brad Riley who was the front runner as the checkered flag flew over the Pro-Am class. Riley came off the line with a second place start behind Brian Ace who snagged the holeshot and followed Ace for several laps before making his move. Riley saw an opportunity as Ace took the outside-inside option line heading into the famous off-camber in the middle of the course and Riley was able to throttle hard into the outside lane of the off-camber and slip by Ace to take over the lead. Riley never looked back from this point forward and went on to secure his second win of the day and further his points lead in this class as well.

“Today went perfect for me and my team and I just have to thank all of my sponsors again for all of their support and help along the way. My bike setup was on point today and all of the quality products that we use really shows what they can do out here. I’m really happy with the way the weekend has turned out and I can’t wait for the rest of the season,” said Riley happily.

Pocono Power Center / Tru-Way Racing / Walsh / Rage ATV / PEP / FLY’s Brian Ace was back on the podium at Pine Lake for the fourth round as well with a second place finish in the Pro-Am class. Ace came off the line in great form and was actually the holeshot winner and lap-leader for several laps.

Brian Ace EDT Holeshot

Ace battled hard for the position with Riley, but eventually slipped back to second place where he stayed the rest of the race, proving he has what it takes to be a top contender in the Pro division.

CCR Sway Bars / JT Racing / CEWO / MAXXIS Tire’s Chuckie Creech slung his Honda 450R all the way up into third place after coming off the line with a ninth place start. Creech found himself on the wrong end of the holeshot, and with a class that isn’t made up of amateur racers.

Creech also found something else along the way, passing opportunities. He was able to slice and dice his way through the pack like a true professional ATV racer and come home with a third place podium finish after a long trek through the pack.
