In the XC2 pro-am class, Walker Fowler was
on a mission. Fowler was off to a great start
and took the lead in lap three. From there Fowler
checked out to take his first win of the season.

Gabe Phillips was leading the XC2 class for
the first couple of laps, but fell back to take
a solid second place, while Eric Hoyland battled
hard to claim a respectable third place finish.

In the morning classes, the UXC Racing team
of utility racers Michael Swift and Cliff Beasley
both found their way to the podium with Michael
Swift taking the 4x4 Open win and the overall
win, while Cliff Beasley picked up right where
he left off last season, laying claim to the
U2 class win and holding on for third place
on the podium.

In the Women's class, Can-Am/Warnert Racing's
Lexie Coulter claimed her second win in Florida.
Coulter battled her way up from a top five start
in her class and took the lead in lap three,
Coulter held her lead for three laps before
she was able to take it to the checkered flag.
Angel Atwell charged her way to the lead in
lap two, but fell back to third in lap three.
Atwell battled hard with Traci Cecco and charged
again to make her way to second in her class
before reaching the finish line and leaving
Cecco to settle for third.
Racers will have only a week to rest and get
ready for round two of the 2011 GNCC season
that will be held in Aonia Pass, GA on March
12th-13th where Chris Borich will be trying
for another win.
