Kevin Yoho also had one of his best career finishes to date at the Steele Creek GNCC. Even with a thirty-second penalty, Yoho was able to keep his composure and throttle ahead to finish fourth in the XC1 Pro Class.

Rounding out the top five in the pro class
of Rookie Pro Class racer Jay Shadron. The
Yamaha mounted racer worked his way from ninth
at the end of the first lap to fifth place
by the end of the third lap. Shadron was able
to hold the fifth place spot for one final
lap earning his best finish this season.

Landon Wolfe, another Pro rookie, would also earn his best pro career finish at Steele Creek GNCC by finishing sixth.

After finishing second at the General GNCC, Marshal Goings earned yet another podium finish GNCC Round 3, although this time, he earned the top spot on the box with the win in the Pro-Am Class.

“About a half mile before the finish
I got around Cole. Freddy was leading and
he crashed and then me and Cole got around
him and then I got around Cole in the next
corner,” said Marshal Goings of his
last minute effort to take over the first
place position and the win
Finishing just one second behind Marshal
Goings in second, was Cole Richardson, putting
an end to his two race winning streak for
the Yamaha mounted Pro-Am Rookie. Rounding
out the Pro-Am Class podium was Fred Marley
in third.
