Swift was at the back of the pack after the first lap, and he charged his way up into a battle with, two time winner, Jordan Phillips, in lap two for the third spot. Swift made the pass for third and even challenged Buckhannon in lap four for the second spot, but in the end, Swift held on to claim third for a spot on the podium.

Can-Am’s Jordan Phillips finished in the fourth spot on the day after an early battle with Swift for the third spot, but Phillips fourth place finish boosted him up into a tie for fourth place in points with Coldcock Whiskey / Polaris’ Rick Cecco who only finished three laps for a sixth place finish.

GNCC Racing 4x4 Pro points leader, Kevin Trantham, grabbed the early lead, but by lap two dropped back into the fifth spot, which is where he stayed for the remainder of the race, which allowed Buckhannon to close the gap in the points race on Trantham heading into the second half of the season.
