Millfield, OH - 2014 GNCC Racing
UTV Champion, Turnkey UTV / Can-Am’s Kyle Chaney
would come into John Penton GNCC with back to back
wins, and he would add another, on the fast dusty
track, to increase his lead in the GNCC XC1 Pro
SxS overall points standing. Can-Am Maverick SxS’s
would dominate the GNC Racing SxS Podium once again
with Can-Am / RacerTech’s Mouse Pratt finishing
in the second spot followed by Can-Am / JB Racing’s
Tim Farr.

By the time the SxS’s took to the battlefield
on a stifling Saturday afternoon, a large portion
of the course they would traverse had been chewed
up and spat out by over five hundred angry ATV’s
doing several laps on the course each in the Morning
and Afternoon race.
Lining up in rows of five, according to current
GNCC Racing championship standings, sixty eight
machines took to the field. Current XC1 SxS Champion,
Kyle Chaney answered the ‘ten seconds’ call with
speed and finesse, taking the holeshot on the
front rowe and led the class until a bottleneck
allowed Mouse Pratt in his Racertech Can-Am to
take the lead by dropping into a small creek and
coming out ahead.

Chaney followed suite and after an intense battle
he regained the lead. Despite breaking a shock
mount on his Turnkey UTV/Can-Am and having to
nurse the machine towards the end of the race,
he would take the checkers and secure win number
three.

#1 Kyle
Chaney claimed his third straight GNCC
Racing SxS Win to extend his points lead
heading into the summer break
|
“This win has really opened up the points lead
for me, and I can go out there and hopefully wrap
this championship up,” said Chaney on his win.
The champ plans to compete in smaller SXS race
series and stay in race shape during the GNCC
Racing summer break.
