Ithaca Recreation/Maxxis/Quad Tech/Storm Peak Crossfit’s Hunter Hart snagged the $100 All Balls Racing Holeshot Award in the XC2 Pro-Am class and lead every lap from start to finish. Both Hygear Suspension’s Greg Covert and M.R. Unlimited/Hygear Suspension/GBC Tires/Tire Spine’s Devon Feehan applied the pressure to Hart, but had settle for second and third.

Pierce Performance’s John Glauda Jr. took home top amateur honors in the 1 p.m. race, with an impressive ninth overall finish and class win in the College A (16-21) division. Tanner Walker and Coastal Racing’s Drew Landers filled the amateur overall podium.

With the 10 a.m. overall win, Cunningham Racing/Can-Am/Maxxis-backed Kevin Cunningham secured his second consecutive 4x4 Pro National Championship. Team UXC Racing’s Kevin Trantham crossed the line in second overall, while DeRisi Racing/Tire Spine/Can-Am/Goldspeed’s Robbie Pecorari finished third overall.

Trantham made his return to the podium in the UTV race where he earned his first-ever overall win. Miller Brothers Racing/AmPro Yamaha’s Cody Miller and Can-Am’s Hunter Miller rounded out the overall podium.

Pirate MX/Axis/Texiera Tech’s Angel Knox earned her fifth WXC victory of the season. Yamaha’s Traci Pickens and Ye Olde Cycle Barn’s Alicia McCormick followed in second and third.

John Baughman made a last-lap pass on OTR Wheel Engineering Racing/Polaris’ Colin Truett for the Single-Seat UTV race victory. Robert Boynton raced his way to third overall.

Layne McCormick took home a well-deserved youth ATV overall championship and the overall youth win in the 8 a.m. race. Second and third place came down to the wire with Bryce Husband and Colton Buck rounding out the overall podium.

The 1 p.m. ATV Pro race was broadcast LIVE in its entirety on RacerTV.com and can be viewed as archived video online by visiting the GNCC LIVE page. A highlight show featuring the event will air on NBC Sports Network on Sunday, November 11 at 6:30 p.m.

The 2017 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series travels to St. Clairsville, Ohio in two weeks, October 7 and 8, with the Polaris Ace Powerline Park GNCC.
