"The General" Amateur ATV
Race Report - Page Two
The U2 Class had most likely the best battle of the
day between the top three riders. Broc Parker aboard
his Can-AM held the lead for two laps of the race. Marcus
Gonzalez held the lead for the next two laps of the
race on laps three and four. But when it mattered most
as the racers crossed the finish line and took the checkers,
Michael Benson had come from third on the last lap to
take the win ahead of Gonzalez and Parker. Michael Benson
in the U2 class has now finished a top his class two
races in a row.

4x4 Limited class winner Michael Swift has pulled off
the same task as well. 4x4 Lites has not only seen Clifton
Beasley win two races in a row, but the entire class
finished the same way they did in Florida. Jerime Dudding
in 2nd, David Reese in 3rd, Ken Robey in 4th, and Kevin
Johnston in 5th. The 4x4 Open Class saw the return of
the usual Scott Kilby after he had quad issues in Florida.
Scott battled during the first lap with fellow Can-AM
rider Rick Cecco but unfortunately Rick ran into some
problems on lap two that made him withdraw from the
race. This opened the door for Bryan Buckhannon to move
into the second place finish, while Jessie West took
the third place finish in the class. The 4x4 Limited
class has had Mike Swift win both races so far this
season to secure his number one position in points for
the class, and only one other class in the AM ranks
has seen this happen and that is the new 13-15 Youth
Production Class. Walker Fowler has carried his momentum
as the Junior Quad Champion into the AM races and finished
handily in the lead in both races.

The
Warnert Racing CanAm Team dominated "The

Michael Swift (4x4 Limited), and Cliffton Beasley
(4x4 Lites) sweeping the Utility Classes

In the Youth Ranks Mathew Harris took his first ever
overall and with his consistent finishes he is now the
90 Mod 11-15 class leader by 6 points. Jay Shadron in
the 90 Mod 8-10 class pulled off wins in Florida and
Georgia to earn his number position. Cheyanne Shadron
has finished near the front in the two races so far
giving her the top spot in points in the 90 Limited
11-15. Keep up all of the great work and keep training
hard, there are only 11 rounds left. We will see if
any one can keep the streak of wins for the entire season.
