Next up for Friday was the popular Mudda Cross
race that puts man and machine against the elements
for this unique take on endurance racing. In the
Pro Series class, it was hometown hero Marty Williams
of Creek Bottom Racing that would take the Mudda
Cross win with Michael Mayo in second and Chance
Vaugh of team Bucked up in third.

In
the Pro Series, Marty Williams of Creek
Bottom Racing would take the win, with Michael
Mayo in 2nd and Chance Vaugh in 3rd |
In the RUV class, the podium was dominated by
three of the High Lifter Polaris Racing teams.
Blake Mann would claim the victory, while Bryan
Robertson would take a close second and his wife,
Maggie Robertson, would round out the top three.
“We always have a great time at the High
Lifter events. We always get to meet new people
and just have a lot of fun,” said Maggie
Robertson.
The High Lifter Polaris team would also take
the win in the Bogger class with J.W. Otwell at
the controls, while Team OffRoad Powersports’
Jeramy Holloway would take the Lites Class win
and Seminole Racing’s Jamie Hodges would
claim the victory in the Open class.

Although the Mudda Cross has become quite a popular
event in the High Lifter Mud Nationals, the Mud
Bogs still reign supreme as the crowd and racer
favorite. Everyone was eager for Saturday’s
races to begin, and as usual, High Lifter had
everything planned to a “T” with the
first round kicking off right on schedule.
