Fans
took part in Friday's Bad to Da' Bone Shine
& Show event |
Fans and spectators began to arrive on Thursday
for the four day event and were busy getting ready
for the Poker Run to be held later in the day, as
well as Friday’s Bad to Da’ Bone Shine
and Show and Mudda Cross events. While things were
pretty much low key for Thursday, Friday was a different
story. On Friday morning vendor row was hopping
with everyone getting their booths set up for
the crowds that would be in attendance. The High
Lifter events are known for having a wide variety
of displays, with some of the top aftermarket
vendors and manufacturers in the industry in attendance,
and this first ever event certainly lived up to
the High Lifter reputation.

Can-Am and Arctic Cat to display their new
2010 models |
Vendor row was packed with aftermarket companies
displaying their goods and offering services for
those in attendance. There were plenty of manufacturers
on hand as well, including Polaris, Arctic Cat
and Can-Am, all displaying their new 2010 models.
Yamaha, one again brought in a team of experts
to provide free mechanical services to Yamaha
ATV and SxS riders in addition to showing off
their new 2010 YFZ450XC.
Later on Friday, the pits were lined with incredible
looking mud machines that were tricked out and
just waiting for their opportunity to submerge
themselves in the thick Georgian mud after the
Shine and Show judging was complete. Although
it was tough decision with so many amazing machines,
the judges made their choice and it was Offroad
Powersports’ Jay Laycock who would take
top honors with his Polaris RZR.
