                                        Motorsports’#8 Michael Pilotte scored
yet another Podium finish in the Open
Pro class after claiming the 3rd spot
in Moto 2 by holding off #101 Rocco Arno
Jr as he Pilotte challenged Morello for
                                        the 2nd spot |

Michael Pilotte was looking solid as ever in his
pro class motos despite the muddy conditions.
The first moto was a bit rough for Pilotte as
he lost his goggles and was having trouble seeing
due to all the mud, but he still hung on to take
                                fifth place in moto one.

In Pro moto two, Pilotte and Nate Morello battled
it out for the holeshot, but Pilotte had to
settle for second going into the first turn.
“We were side by side going into the first
turn, but Nate edged me out,” said Pilotte.
Josh Creamer would eventually pass Pilotte,
which would send the Honda rider back to a third
place finish, but Pilotte’s solid performance
was enough to earn him the final spot on the
                                  Pro podium.

Pro Rookie, #270 Jason Connell, just missed

Jason Connell put on a hard charge in the first
Pro moto to take a third place finish, but his
moto two results had him in seventh, which gave
him fourth place overall. Rounding out the top
five was Rocco Arno, Jr. who had some issues with
the mud in moto one, but came back strong for
a fourth place finish in moto two to give him
                                fourth overall.

Aaron Meyer had an exceptionally consistent
race with a 6-6 finish that gave him sixth overall.
Myles Santaniello also had some difficulty in
the mud taking 11th place in moto one, but a
fifth place finish in moto two allowed him the
                                  number seven spot overall.
Can-Am’s Matt Pomeroy was looking good
claiming and 8-9 finish to take 8th place overall
while Tony Lucaselli took the number nine spot,
and Ralle Rookie rounded out the top ten overall.

Kawasaki’s Joe Haavisto was looking good
in the first Pro moto taking a fourth place
finish, but ran into some issues in moto two.
“My bike stalled and I didn’t know
why at the time so I tried to push it across
the finish line, but I didn’t make it
in time,” said a disappointed Haavisto.
