Pro class after claiming the 3rd spot
in Moto 2 by holding off #101 Rocco Arno
Jr as he Pilotte challenged Morello for
the 2nd spot |
Michael Pilotte was looking solid as ever in his
pro class motos despite the muddy conditions.
The first moto was a bit rough for Pilotte as
he lost his goggles and was having trouble seeing
due to all the mud, but he still hung on to take
fifth place in moto one.
In Pro moto two, Pilotte and Nate Morello battled
it out for the holeshot, but Pilotte had to
settle for second going into the first turn.
“We were side by side going into the first
turn, but Nate edged me out,” said Pilotte.
Josh Creamer would eventually pass Pilotte,
which would send the Honda rider back to a third
place finish, but Pilotte’s solid performance
was enough to earn him the final spot on the
Pro podium.
