Wallkill, NY - This weekend the
NEATV MX series kicked off their eleventh season
at Walden Playboys MX, in Wallkill, NY. A great
turnout of riders and spectators was seen this
weekend at the season opener, along with great
weather. Sun shined through the partly cloudy
skies both Saturday and Sunday, and on Sunday
a mid afternoon shower helped water down the dusty
track. Walden Playboys Motocross Track switched
up a few sections this year, adding in more jumps
and a double triple section that seemed pretty
intimidating to most.
The 2012 NEATV-MX series schedule will be returning
to many of it’s featured venues like MX
207 in Lyman, ME, Hurricane Hills in Clifford,
PA, Hemonds MXP in Minot, ME, and a few other
favorites. A new venue to the series this year
is Twister Valley in Fort Plain, NY, which will
host the series season finale.
The NEATV-MX series added some new classes
to the line up on both Saturday's and Sunday's
for this season. One of the new and exciting
classes added to the series is the 4x4 class,
which is ran on a supercross track plus some
mud bogs, logs, and rocks. Along with the 4x4
class, the SxS class also will run this track
on Saturdays before the 50's, 70's, 90's, Pitbikes,
and Trophy Karts, who will ride on the regular
MX track. The series also added a new Youth
Open class to the Sunday race schedule, as well
as splitting up the 30+ B and C classes into
their own class.

NEATV-MX Pro and Pro-Am Runner Up Josh
Creamer |
2012 NEATV-MX Pro and Pro-Am Runner Up Josh
Creamer returned to the series on his new BCS
Performance/Can-Am DS 450. Creamer looked and
felt good on his new bike this weekend. In the
first Pro moto, Creamer started second off the
line, but was able to make quick work on Mathieu
Deroy in the back section to take the lead.
Once out in front, Troy Lee Design's Josh Creamer
was able to maintain a steady distance from
the pack and take the win. The second Pro moto,
Creamer shot off the line, taking the holeshot,
and kept a good pace throughout the moto, giving
him first overall in the Pro class.

Soutside Polaris' #969 Travis Moore |
Team Soutside Polaris' # 99 Mark
Gehring |
The Southside Polaris team has added three
new riders to their Pro and Pro-Am line up.
Southside will be represented by Travis Moore
from Mckenzie, Tennessee who will run both the
Pro and Pro-Am classes. Running the Pro-Am classes
will be Max Soto from Argentina, and Mark Gehring
out of West Springfield, Massachusetts. All
three will be riding Polaris Outlaw 450 MXR's.
Only into the second week of testing and also
recovering from a crash the week before, Travis
Moore had a pretty good weekend on his Polaris
Outlaw 450 MXR. In the first Pro moto, Moore came
off the line in fourth and battled with Tommy
Lombardo for third. For the first three laps,
Moore and Lombardo were neck and neck before Moore
was able to make his move into third and hold
onto that position, taking third in the first
moto.
