Dana Creech was in second off the start and was staying close behind the leader, Jason Luburgh. Creech waited for an opportunity and in the final laps, Luburgh spun out and Creech was able to slip by for the lead.

Once out front, Creech cruised to the finish line for his second win of the season at round five.

“We had a good race. Jason (Luburgh) and I were going at it for about ¾ of the race, and then he had some issues and spun out in front of me. I got out front and was able to weave in and out of all the lappers out there. I had Doug Gust coming up behind me, so I just tried to stay out front and take the win,” said Creech

Digger Doug Gust was in fourth off the start and made a charge. Gust worked his way into third and was able to take advantage of Luburgh’s misfortune and make a pass as well, to finish in second place.
