2015 Terracross Championship
Polaris RZR Racing
::Continued::
Hanco Utilities' Cole Cottew notched his first
TerraCross Championship podium finish with his
runner-up effort. The defending ISOC Snocross
Sport National Champion had trouble with the circuit’s
concrete section, but was pleased with his effort:
“That was a pretty crazy race,” said Cottew.

“I actually had the lead at one point, but blew
the concrete corner and fell back to second. I
stayed there and ran a clean race. I broke in
every race that I ran last year, so this is cool.
I love Terracross. I like racing the RZR because
it has a full roll cage as compared to my sled,
so it gives me a little more confidence,"
said Cottew.

Lonestar Racing's Jason Luburgh’s suffered multiple
mechanical failures during the pro main, so he
was happy to round out the podium. “I spun out
on the first lap and bent a tie rod,” explained
Luburgh. “I held the position, passed a few people,
then my power steering went out. Finally, I broke
an axle late in the race, so we’re pretty pleased
with the result. I love racing UTVs. It’s so great
to be back racing again. I had a battle with just
about everyone out there.”

Mystic Lubricants / Rockstar Energy's Colten
Moore started eighth, flipped his Polaris RZR
and stayed out of trouble, eventually finishing
fourth. “On the first lap, I tipped it over, and
the red flag waved,” said Moore. “It was actually
fortunate because on the restart, the pack was
dicing it out and we were able to hold onto fourth.
This is such a tight track, so you can’t help
but run into other cars. It’s a lot of fun to
be out here. We’re starting it out here near San
Diego: the Mecca of all motorsports, and I’m just
having a good time.”

Terracross rookie, FOX’s Cody Rahder, charged
his way to a top five finish for an impressive
