RJ Anderson Takes Terracross
Racing Round 3 Win
::Continued::
RJ Anderson started fourth, and ran a conservative
race in third behind Guthrie and Creech. “The
track was really getting gnarly, and I thought
they were running just a little too fast of a
pace, so I played it conservatively,” said Anderson.”
Then we got a yellow flag and it bunched us all
up. Dana and Mitch instantly had problems and
gave me the lead. I just had to play it calm and
hit my lines. I didn’t want to roll over. The
track was getting super rutted and a lot of guys
were rolling over.”

RJ Anderson
took over the lead with both Guthrie jr
& Creech sidelined in the final half
of the race
|
Anderson then held off Luburgh in the final laps.
“I looked back and I saw Jason,” explained Anderson.
“I knew he’d race me clean, so it was a matter
of not making mistakes. We caught lappers’ right
at the end. I took a line, we split traffic and
we took it home. I’ve been pretty good at either
winning or breaking this year, so I’m happy about
winning two in a row.”
