Jeremie Warnia, aka “Frenchy” as
he is fondly referred to by his fellow WORCS racers,
put on a valiant effort, taking the lead early
in the race and maintaining a blistering speed
for the first four laps. Unfortunately, Warnia
began to tire and fell back to finish in fourth
place. MCR racer Beau Baron ran a very consistent
racer and rounded out the top five for the day
while MCR teammate Levi Marana climbed into the
number six spot after a mid pack start. Mike Machado
ran strong to take 7th overall with DAT’s
Kawasaki’s Robbie Mitchell claimed eighth,
followed by MCR’s Mike Cafro in 9th, and
Suzuki mounted Jesse Goss wrapped up the top ten.
