RJ Anderson has been a tough competitor all season and this round was no exception for him as he charged his way to the number two spot on the SXS Pro podium.

“I was in third and catching Pablo and I kept having an issue so I was trying to ride smart. The pass on Pablo was pretty crazy though, we went through this gnarly sand wash where you couldn’t see and Pablo went wide to set up for the turn and I just went in right under him. It forced me to do the water jump which I had been avoiding, but I just went for it. At the end I didn’t even know I finished second so I am pretty stoked about that,” said Anderson.

Pablo Veglia was able to take his Can-Am Maverick to the podium for the first time this season with a third place finish.

“I am so happy today! Everything worked so well for me out there. We were second all day long, but we lost it on the last lap. I had a good battle with RJ and I hit a rock and started to hear so noise coming from my suspension and I had to ease off, but I am still happy that we were able to finish on the podium,” said Veglia.

Michael Camp, who is now sixth in series points was looking strong as he went on to finish in fourth overall for the day, while Nic Granlund made an impressive charge from a third row start to round out the top five for this round.
