WORCS Racing Round 4 Pro SxS
/ UTV Race Report
::Continued::
FOX Ryan Piplic earned his first Pro UTV podium
finish of the season. He drove through some late-race
carnage to finish second. “I feels good to finally
get back on the podium,” said Piplic. “I had a
great race, but I was just bummed out I couldn’t
catch David Haagsma. He had a great race going
on, and the track was really brutal.”

“Another podium and it’s awesome,” said Obering.
“Every little thing helps in these cars. We switched
up the tires and that definitely gave me an edge.
Third place in Pro with all of these competitive
guys is just huge for our team.”
Points leader Mickey Thomas was running second
when he flipped on the final lap. He rebounded
to finish seventh. Thomas is also running a truck
in the Lucas Oil Series, but elected to compete
here this weekend to keep him in the title chase.

“On the last lap, a rock got stuck in my wheel,”
explained Thomas. “It locked my wheel all the
way to the left, I climbed a hill and tipped on
my side. I had to get out and flip the car back
up to finish the race. It wasn’t a great day,
but I’ll take the finish.”
