Kawasaki Teryx 750 FI 4x4 Sport RUV |
Attica, Indiana - Arriving at
the Badlands Offroad area for the 2010 Kawasaki
Press Event, things weren’t looking good.
The weather was nasty and it was a good thing
my main focus would be centered on the newly updated
2010 Kawasaki Teryx 750 FI 4x4 RUV. Before it
ever rolled out of the trailer, I knew it would
or should afford me the protection I needed to
get the job done without turning into one water-logged
individual!
Now I have to admit, I have ZERO experience
with the Teryx, so any enhancements made to
the machine would be water under the bridge
for me, but that didn’t stop me from seeing
what they had changed and appreciating a few
changes myself. I listened intently to those
now surrounding the new model as they discussed
the cosmetic changes, especially the headlight
placement and look of the new hood.

The
2010 Teryx 750 FI 4x4 RUV has a totally
new look with a completly redesigned front
end, which now features a hinge tilting
front hood that simplifies access to the
front suspension & radiator

I had to take a quick glance at the 09 model
to see what the hubbub was about and I didn’t
see anything ghastly in the new look, but was
a bit fond of the older version. The biggest
change was the fact that now the hood was able
to be opened without the worry of those confounded
plastic push pins. With the quick release ala
Jeep style straps, the hood opened outward and
immediately offered one access to the radiator
and front suspension, among other items that
one will need to keep an eye on. All agreed
that this was a big positive and from an average
Joe’s sake, I could appreciate the ease
of access for simple maintenance.
