I picked up a steering stem, a-arms, and a
stock replacement linkage and bolted them up
to my frame. I then matched them up with a set
of EXIT shocks. EXIT shocks are designed and
built by Mike Hallock, and are top notch shocks
that work great and are super easy to get working
how you need them to.

For
GNCC racing, a steering stabilizer is
a must have & the Precision Racing
Product's steering stabilizer is the best
on the market for durability & adjustability

GBC X-REX tires to Hiper carbon fiber
wheels, loaded with Tireballs because
you can't afford to have a flat tire slow
you down during the race(right) |
Now it was time to get the quad rolling. I
made some more phone calls, and had some parts
on the way. I mounted up set GBC X-REX tires
to Hiper carbon fiber wheels. They make a great
pair on the track, and with a set of Tireballs
inside flat tires are never an issue!

Now with it rolling it was time to focus on the
controls. Pro Taper offers a variety of different
handlebars so I ordered up a set of woods high
bars. I mounted a pair of Powermadd handgaurds
to them and the rest of my controls. I also mounted
a new Precision Racing Product’s steering
stabilizer. It is their new pro series stabilizer
that works awesome for all types of racing.
With a majority of the quad done I decided
I needed some protection. I outfitted my YFZ450
with some Pro Armor aluminum products. I made
sure to install all the chassis skidplates,
and also one of their Pro XC front bumper.
Also a set of their Powergrip footpegs were
bolted up to make sure my feet stayed safe,
and out from under the tires. All I had left
to do was install a Clarke oversized fuel tank
with the dry break for fast pit stops and my
graphic kit from Graphic Creation Innovations
and I was ready to ride.
