ATVriders.com: How confident are you going into 2105 GNCC Racing season?
Walker Fowler: Confident, for sure. I’ve kind of doubted myself in year’s past because I didn’t quite have the record or felt like I could beat (Chris) Borich on a consistent basis. But last year, winning Georgia, and then kind of going on a slump and then I was able to win two in a row, leading Snowshoe, pretty convincingly and then breaking down, that could of been three in a row. Come back after summer break and win three in a row and then take it down to the wire at Ironman. I’ve proven that I’ve got the speed to ride with Chris Borich, and no one’s been able to say that the last couple of years, so I’m really looking forward to the season and seeing if I can come out on top this time.

Walker Fowler is more detremined than ever to go after the 2015 GNCC Racing Series Pro ATV Championship

ATVriders.com: We’re about a month away from the GNCC racing season opener in Palatka, Florida, so do you have any idea of what to expect at this new location?
Walker Fowler: Yeah, I’ve heard some horror-stories about that place. That was, the last time they were racing there was pre-Walker Fowler, so it’s either going to be really awesome or it’s going to be a mud-bog again. I hope it’s not going to be that way because the mud was super challenging last year, just alone to finish, but trying to contend for a win. Both Suzuki’s went up in smoke at the end and my engine was not happy at the end of it either, so it’s Florida, it could be anything!

ATVriders.com: How has racing down here in the Florida in the FTR Racing series worked out for you?
Walker Fowler: The FTR series is a really great series and it gives me a chance to race in the sand. Cole, Landon, Adam, Josh, Johnny, and I are here today too, and you get some fast riders in general coming out. FTR has fast Pro riders as it is, and you get us all together and it’s a lot of fun. It’s great practice and you get to push yourself at some really good tracks, which makes the FTR a great series to race over the winter.
