Baltimore, MD (8/29/2014) -ATVRiders.com is proud to announce that they have teamed up with Houser Racing for the 2014 Mystic Lubricants Terracross Championship to support SxS driver #42 Scott McFarland.
The Terracross series is a six round series held at three different locations around the United States. The season opener kicked off in San Diego, CA in June, with round two, and the next double header weekend of racing is just around the corner on September 6-7th in Minnesota at the Sno barons Haydays, which attracts a huge crowd of spectators and off-road vendors from around the country.
The Mystic Lubricants Terracross series is now in its third year and it has definitely taken off, especially with the series being aired on CBS Sports. The air time has added to the growing popularity of the series and contributed to the addition of some big name racers for the 2014 season. Of course the reigning Terracross Champion, RJ Anderson, will be back along with Jeremy McGrath, Dana Creech, Doug Gust, Colten Moore, and many more.
ATVRiders.com/Houser Racing’s Scott McFarland will have plenty of competition, but he is well qualified to race with the best. McFarland is from Moab, UT, and is the owner of Highpoint Hummer and ATV, which operates guided tours through Moab. McFarland also has several racing credits to his name including racing a Class 8 trucks in BITD and the SCORE series, where he has won several events. McFarland is used to endurance races, so the short course sprint style of Terracross will be a change for him, but a very welcomed one.

“It’s really exciting racing with everything being so close and technical. It almost turns you into a stunt driver. I have had a lot of success with racing trucks and I am really looking forward to this new venture and hopefully taking it to the podium. We have been doing a lot of work and practicing and with the great products and support we are getting from Houser Racing, we are really excited for Haydays,” said McFarland.

This will be a new venture for Houser Racing as this is their first year in the SxS market after years of being one of the leaders in ATV racing components. ATVRiders.com will be using Houser Racing’s new Polaris RZR 1000 XP front bumper, nerf bars and rear bumper for added protection out on the track.

“We are very excited to be involved with ATVRiders.com and the Terracross series. This is a great opportunity and a great way to establish ourselves and our products in the UTV market,” said Jeff Houser.
ATVRiders.com will be providing updates and coverage of the Mystic Lubricants Terracross Championship series with the Haydays, rounds three and four, held on Sept. 6-7 and rounds five and six held on Sept. 19-20 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina.
