The hard work has paid off for Houser Racing as their products are widely used by the ATV racing community to not only win races but championships.  Despite their success, Houser Racing has remained a family owned business with Jeff’s father, mother, wife, sister, and more all working together to continue expanding the Houser Racing products line in the small town of Marion, Ohio.

One thing that differentiates Houser from their competition is the ability to use new advancements in technology to engineer their products.  Their new FARO arm allows them to fully 3D scan units like the new Polaris RZR XP1000 in order to develop products accurately using software.

The ability to rapid prototype new parts without all of the time spent fabricating is a game changer for companies like Houser.  Also aiding in production are their Mazak CNC mills, BLM tube bender, CNC lathes and their plasma tubing notcher.  All of these tools help Houser build the best quality parts with very high tolerances.

“All of our products are engineered. For instance when talking about bump steer, we have all of our components drawn in 3D and can simulate the movements of the tires, so we can minimize bump steer in our final parts. Also, all of our stuff fits very well since everything is done in house and we have full control over production. The ability to have the machine we are making parts for here to try out new products on really helps. Those types of things are what makes our products better,” mentioned Jeff during our interview.

Because Houser understands how important it is to engineer your product in order to get the best performance, they have an in house engineer to aid them in product development. In charge of engineering for their new side by side product lineup is Kemal Oz. Formally residing in the state of Washington, Oz has prior experience engineering stretchers for the medical industry. The complexity of a product like a stretcher that needs to be very durable and articulate in many different ways was very attractive to Jeff when he sought a new engineer for his future product line.
