a Suzuki LT Z400 & Super Mini 150 at
the ATV Motocross Nationals |
Joel Hetrick has also been down in Texas training
with Dee. “My parents thought it would be
good for me to come down here and work with Dee,”
said Joel. “His program is great and I’ve
really learned a lot from him.”
According to Dee, Hetrick has made a lot of progress
and gained a lot of strength. “Joel was
a good rider when he came down here, but he is
also improved dramatically since he’s been
here,” Dee said proudly. Dee also insists
that most riders can begin to see noticeable improvements
in about seven days if they stay consistent and
stick to their work out routines.

Billy Cottage, who is spending his first winter

“ I came down here to work with Dee because
he has a really good reputation working with riders.
This is my first time training like this. I’m
learning a lot of new techniques and getting in
really good shape thanks to Dee,” said Billy,
who has signed on to race with Hetrick Racing
for the 2008 season.
Dee’s training program not only attracts
local riders, but riders from as far away as Canada,
such as Ryan Rusaw. “I’ve been training
with Dee since December and it has helped me a
lot,” stated Rusaw, who will be racing the
pro-am class in the 2008 WPSA.

According to Dee many riders are caught by surprise
at the level of intensity of his program. “Some
of them are completely shell shocked once they
get out here and see how hard they have to work,”
said Manshack. “It really is a lot of hard
work, but it’s worth it,” added Cody
Suggs who is also training at Dee’s facility
for the first time.
