2016 Yamaha Wolverine & Factory Tour
::Continued::
After announcing plans of moving all ATV and SxS assembly to the United States, Yamaha built an all-new assembly plant adjacent to the existing YMMC Plant 1, which builds the full line of Yamaha golf carts and watercraft vehicles. In June of 2013, YMMC Plant 2 opened to produce the “Assembled in the USA” Yamaha YFZ450R and the new Yamaha Viking.

The YMMC campus encompasses over 200 acres that houses the impressive 1,341,000 square foot state-of-the-art production facility. To keep ahead of the game, Yamaha has invested $250,000,000 in the past 15 years into YMMC to ensure top quality products that are built in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

YMMC has hit many impressive milestones through the years including manufacturing the 3,000,000 vehicles in December 2014 – which was a Yamaha Grizzly 700 ATV. Yamaha plans to celebrate many milestones to come as the all-new 2016 Yamaha Wolverine rolls into production.
The 2016 Yamaha Wolverine introduces an all-new category of Side-by-Sides from Yamaha. Unlike the Yamaha Viking SxS, the Yamaha Wolverine is focused towards recreational category rather than the utility market.
The Yamaha Wolverine was designed with rider comfort and performance in mind. Some of these features include long travel suspension with fully adjustable piggy back shocks, Ultra-matic engine transmission with all-wheel engine braking, and on command system which allows the driver to select 2WD, 4WD, or fully locked differential.
The Yamaha Wolverine features a short nimble wheel-base for better agility and handling. Compared to the Yamaha Viking, the wheelbase is 2.75” shorter and he overall length is 3.94” less.
