Root River Racing’s Haedyn Mickelson had a strong finish in the 450 A class. Mickelson had a good start an immediately went to work, picking off the competition one by one. Mickelson charged his way into second on the white flag lap and chased down the leader. Mickelson closed in but ran out of time before he could make a move and finished in second. “I had a good race. I caught up to the leader and tried to get by but it didn’t happen. I’m still happy with my performance. I have been training hard over the winter and I have the stamina to push hard all the way to the end, so I think that is going to be an advantage for me this year,” said Mickelson.
