on the first lap to finish sixth, which gave him
a hard earned fourth place overall. Gennusa is

national championship title. Gennusa sits at 131
points, with a nine point lead over the second
place rider of Nico Cavi. Root River Racing’s

In Pro Sport, Cam Covil would take the overall
win with consistent 2-2 moto finishes. The sandy
Millville soil felt familiar to Florida native
of Covil, which would play into his favor. “The
track is nice; I’m at home here because I love
the sand,” said Covil. Each moto, Covil put on
a show while battling with Cole Sepesi, and he
would land the fastest lap of the first moto with
a 152.332. Covil’s win would also gain him the
points lead going into the eight round, but only
by one point. Covil sits at 143 points, closely
followed by Sepesi’s 142 points. With only three
rounds left in the season, the points battle is
heating up between these two riders.
