Frank Batista, who is no longer racing for Polaris,
was looking strong on his new McKibben Motorsports
backed Honda 450R ride, as he took third in his
heat race and the Pro main. Batista would battle
briefly with KTM’s Chuckie Creech, but Batista
would pull away slightly and ride his own race
in third place all the way to the finish line.

Motorsports Team for Pine Lake & amazing
in his debut race on the Honda 450R, Batista
earned himself a spot on the Podium as
he remained unchallenged for nearly the
entire race to claim the 3rd spot
|
“It felt really good to go out there on
a new quad and get on the podium right away,”
said Batista, who has decided to try his hand
at the next couple of rounds of the WORCS series
to fill up his schedule a bit.
Chuckie Creech, who ran into some trouble at
the previous round in Danville, VA, was having
a pretty good day as well. Creech took away the
heat win from Michael Coburn when Coburn went
wide in a turn.

Chuckie Creech continues to make strides
with his new KTM ride for 2009 as he claimed
the Pro Heat race win over Michael Coburn,
and he just missed his Pro Podium debut
on the KTM with a 4th place finish behind
Frank Batista

Creech then went on to charge his way into the
number three position in the Pro main event, but
connected with Kirby Cooke and fell back. Creech
would work his way back to the number four position
before reaching the checkers. Ryon Partee also
put in a solid race to round out the top five.

#47 Zac Willet making a charge through
the pack to claim the 6th spot

Pro
ATV Motocross Racer, Trent Kandel, made
his Extreme Dirt Track Debut at Pine Lake
& finished in 11th Place
|
Zac Willett, who took sixth in his heat race,
also finished in sixth in the Pro main. Kirby
Cooke was running in a strong fourth until connecting
with Creech and falling back to ninth place. Cooke
would pt in a hard charge in the final few laps
and work up to the number seven spot, with Danny
McGraw taking eighth. PA native Kristopher Bures
would end his day in ninth and rookie Pro, Kendall
Webb would wrap up the top ten of the Pro class.
