The Pro-am ATV class had its fair share of excitement
as well with Kirby Cooke racing to his first win
of the sesaon by holding off Kristopher Bures and
Shane Hitt down the strech. “I pulled the
holeshot and led from start to finish,” said
Cooke excitedly. “This win really means a
lot to me especially with Shane Hitt being out there.
He was a big influence for me when I was younger
so it was really great to be out there racing with
                              him,” said Cooke.

Cooke held on to claim the Win Pro-Am
ATV Win followed by Kristopher Bures &
Shane Hitt | Kristopher Bures, who took the win in his Pro-am
heat race, held on to take a strong second despite
pressure from TT racing veteran Shane Hitt. Meanwhile,
Hitt, who was going up against a bunch of four
strokes, aboard a tricked out Honda 250r, was
looking good even though he has been absent from
the racing scene for quite a while and proved
he can still hang with the young guns by taking
third place. In the Women’s class, Paula Shank continued
to dominate as she took the win in her heat race
and the Women’s main event. Andrea Creech
took a close second in her heat race and in the
main while Tara Klueber claimed the final spot
                                on the podium. |
