                                    HIGHLIGTS |  Out of all the races, the Pro-am class one without 
                                a doubt the most exciting race of the day. Ryon 
                                Partee would grab the holeshot, but from there 
                                on it was a three-way battle between Partee, Brad 
                                Riley and Kirby Cooke.

                                        Ryon Partee, #417 KirbyCooke & #27 
                                        Brad Riley would swap the lead back & 
                                        forth through out the race, which made 
                                        it one of the most exciting races of the 
                                        night |  
                                The trio would swap positions for the lead numerous 
                              times before Partee stalled his quad, which also 
                              briefly held up Cooke in the process, and allowed 
                              Riley to take over the lead and pull away. Riley 
                              would hold his lead all the way to the checkers, 
                              while Cooke would settle in with second. Nathan 
                              Wolff would benefit from Partee’s mishap and 
                              take third place. 
                              
                              In the Women’s class, Paula Shank took 
                                her fifth straight win of the season and wrapped 
                                up the Women’s class championship, but not 
                                without a fight. Bailey Williams, who has been 
                                out with injuries was back in action. Williams 
                                flew off the line to take the holeshot, and would 
                                lead for several laps before falling to the number 
                                three spot that would allow Shank to take the 
                                win, with Amanda Howe in second.

                                        Chopper's Bailey Williams was back in 
                                        the lineup & she wasted no time making 
                                        her presence known as she grabbed the 
                                        Holeshot & held onto a Podium finish | Tru-Way 
                                      Racing's Paula Shank clawed her way into 
                                      the lead to claim her 5th straight win of 
                                      the season & wrap-up the Women's Class 
                                      Championship  |  The final round of the 2009 Extreme Dirt Track 
                                series is scheduled for September 16th in Greenville, 
                                TN where I-81 Motorsports Park will play host 
                                to some intense racing action as many championships 
                                have come down to the final round and racers will 
                                be battling hard for their chance to win.  |
