Can-Am/Warnert Racing’s Adam McGill
got off to a slower start than usual and was
in eleventh place going into the second lap,
but McGill charged hard and made his way through
traffic to make his way into sixth place by
the end of the third lap. McGill really put
the hammer down in the final lap and made
his way past his teammate Chris Bithell, taking
over the number four spot before reaching
the checkered flag.

Insurance's #3 Adam McGill charged his
way from 11th place to a 4th place finish
just over a second behind Taylor Kiser
at the checkered flag |
“I didn’t quite get the start
I wanted and I had to fight my way through
the traffic. I went back and forth several
times and then I finished in fourth. It was
a fast track and it seemed like it was just
a really fast trail ride with your buddies.
I’m glad I was able to get up to fourth,
but I really, really wanted a win this race,”
said McGill.

Can-Am
/ Warnert Racing's #4 Chris Bithell
had his fair share of ups & downs
at the Rock Run GNCC, but in the end
he secured his fifth Top 5 finish of
the season & Bithell is currently
4th in points |
Can-Am/Warnert Racing’s Chris Bithell
put in a hard charge as he was toward the
back of the pack off the start and in twelfth
place at the end of the first lap. Bithell
put the hammer down and charged his way past
several riders to take over the number four
spot by the third lap, and showed no signs
of slowing his pace any time soon. Bithell
came under attack from his teammate late in
the race and after a good battle, Bithell
would end his day rounding out the top five
overall.
“It’s not what I was expecting
coming into this round, but I’ll take
it, said Chris Bithell of his fifth place
finish. “I was in the top five off start.
Five miles in there was a bottle neck and
it was just a split second we were hung up
then I got t-boned and was back to last. I
put the hammer down and was passing people
like crazy. Everything was going good and
then in the last lap, I tried to pass Kiser
as we came into the last two miles of the
track, and Kiser hit a tree and we got all
bunched up behind him. I went to pass him
after that and then got put into a tree. That
put me back, but this was a pretty rough race
so I’ll take it,” said Bithell.

Rock Run GNCC |
Johnny Gallagher took a solid sixth place
finish, his second so far this season. Gallagher
was in tenth place early in the race and charged
his way to the number five spot in the third
lap. Gallagher would fall back after McGill
came charging through, but held on for a sixth
place finish.
Donny Ockerman was in the top ten off the
start and held his ground as he swapped positions
a couple of times and then charged his way
into the number seven spot before crossing
the finish line.
Kevin Yoho was just outside of the top ten
on the start and made his way into ninth place
in the second lap. Yoho held his ground for
one lap before making his way into eighth
place before reaching the checkered flag.
