"I really have to thank my mechanic
Broc Booth, Yamaha/Ballance Racing, my parents
and the good lord for keeping us safe and
giving us the strength to win,” said
Fowler, who now has a new found confidence
and possibly even more determination to
get another overall before the end of the
season.

Pro-Am
XC2 Racer, Walker Fowler, secured
the overall win over #1 Chris Borich
with 20 seconds to spare for the 18
year old, which we believe makes Fowler
the youngest Afternoon ATV racer to
claim the overall win |
“I just have to keep focused because
winning that championship is important,
but taking another overall win would be
really great to!” said Fowler.
Gabe Phillips charged hard and worked his
way up from tenth place to fifth by the
end of the third lap. From there, Phillips
put the hammer down and made his way up
to a second place finish.
Matt Hanna was looking good as he claimed
his best finish so far this season. Hanna
got off to a good start in fourth and held
his ground to work into the number three
spot for a third place finish.

Round number seven of the 2011 GNCC series
will head to Snowshoe, WV on June 25th.
The Snowshoe round is a round that is known
as one of the most unpredictable and with
$10,000.00 on the line, the competition
is fierce, so this could be another upsetting
round for some, but could be another notch
in the belt for others as racer go for the
cash and the win.
