Lonestar/Precision/Moto-Xperts’ Adam
McGill took the early lead, but was followed
closely by Jarrod McClure and Chris Borich.
McGill was able to hold off the competition
until the fourth lap when Chris Bithell made
a charge to the front and took over the lead,
dropping McGill back to second.
McGill charged back into the lead briefly,
before Chris Borich slipped by, putting McGill
back in second, where he would remain as he
crossed the finish line. “Everything
really came together for me today. I ran a
good pace, but I just ran out of time out
there today. It was a good day and I think
it’s going to be a good season for us,”
stated McGill.

Bithell took over the lead in fourth
lap, but he wasn't wable to hold off

the day in 3rd Place |
By lap fourth lap, Bithell charged his way
into the lead, but he soon came under fire
from Chris Borich and fell back to third after
fatigue set in due to his hard charge early
in the race. Bithell would go on to claim
the final spot on the Podium. “I had
a pretty good race overall, but I’m
looking forward to Georgia. It’s back
in the dirt, which is more my style, so I
am ready for that,” Bithell said.

Yamaha/Ballance Racing’s rookie pro,
Walker Fowler, was looking impressive as he
shot off the start and was holding down a
respectable fourth place going into the second
lap, just seconds behind McGill, McClure and
Borich. Fowler fell back to eighth in the
second lap. “When I was trying to catch
McGill, I hit a tree and twisted my steering
stem and that put me behind a bit, but I pulled
into the pits and got it fixed. From there
I just started making up time and caught back
up,” he explained.
