Darrell Patton had been in a points battle all season long with TJ Dietrich, and was actually trailing Dietrich by 3 points going into the final round. “It was a tough one!” Said Patton in regards to his win. “Robbie Mitchell got the holeshot in the first moto, but I was able to get around him in the first lap and held onto the lead.” Patton once again came off the line in 2nd behind WORCS series Pro, Mitchell, during moto number two. After bumping tires a few times, Patton was able to get around Mitchell, but was unable to hold the lead and ended up in second place, but Patton’s 1-2 finish was enough to edge out Dietrich’s 2-3 finishes. It’s a fast track where I can use a lot of top end speed. It just seems to work really well with my quad (Raptor 700)”. He said.
