Defending AMA MAXC Pro Champion Taylor Kiser took the final spot the on season opener Pro podium. Despite only having an hour and a half of seat time between the final AMA MAXC Round last year and the AMA MAXC Season Opener this year, it looked as if Kiser had been training all winter. The Maxxis backed racer didn’t miss a beat and spent the first two laps in second place before over taking the lead during the third lap. The top three battle was tight, as lapped riders began to an issue late into the race. Between the final two laps, Kiser got held up by a lapped rider that slowed down his pace and consequently dropped him back to third before crossing the finish line.

“We were just trying to sort things out during the lap one. Everybody was trying to find their rhythm and I kind of fell into pace. Everybody was running really well and I was just lucky to stay consistent and smooth today,” explained Taylor Kiser.

Finishing fourth in the AMA MAXC Pro Class was Marshal Goings from Veedersburg, IN.

Rounding out the top five in the Pro Class was Cody Collier who pulled double duty racing both the Pro ATV Class and the 13-15 yrs 300cc 4 Stk, where he took the win earlier that morning.
