For round three, the MAXC series owner’s
made it a personal mission to walk the entire
course themselves and lay it out by hand to
make sure it’s a great course for the motorcycle,
ATV, and SxS racers. The track personnel really
have the riders in mind when it comes to the
course to make sure it flows properly, has
minimal bottlenecks and plenty of passing
opportunities.

Heavy
rain on Saturday left the track a
muddy mess on Sunday for the WORCS
MAXC Pro ATV race, but atleast the
rain was over
|
This past weekend’s weather was slated to
be a drencher, and the weatherman didn’t lie
for once with heavy rain on Saturday for much
of the racing day, but conditions improved
on Sunday for the ATV race with the rain moving
out, but it was still a very saturated race
course with plenty of mud. However, this wasn’t
anything the MAXC racers couldn’t handle.
As the Adult / Pro racers found their way
into the pits and began unloading their ATV’s
and gear the youth racers were out on course
and tackling the muddy terrain. Karlee Hedin,
who made the trek from Mcewen, Tennessee with
her family and two brothers who also race
in the youth class, won a special award after
her completion of the course, the Never Give
Up award presented for her efforts on the
course.
The BDSRA.org and Southside Team Dirt presented
Karlee Hedin with the award and also pay for
their next entry fees into the next event,
all in the name of “never giving up” on Batten
Disease.
