In the Open Pro-am class there were
so many riders that they had to be divided up
into two heats with a main event and with many
of the pros also running in the Pro-am class,
the competition is tougher than ever, but Kawasaki’s
Joe Haavisto managed to come out on top once again.
Haavisto won both his heat race and the main to
take the overall Open Pro-am win.

Richard Pelchat lost his seat in Moto
1, but held on to claim the moto win |
Richard Pelchat also won his heat race, despite
losing his seat early on and having to do without
for most o the moto, however, Pelchat would
take second to Haavisto in the main moto and
have to settle for second overall.
Michael Pilotte was looking good in the Pro-am
class as well. Pilotte too second in his heat
race and held strong to take third in the main,
giving him third place overall.

Can-Am’s Matt Pomeroy came on strong
in his heat race, taking second, but a less
than desirable start in the second moto had
Pomeroy finishing in 10th, which earned him
fourth overall, while Rocco Arno, Jr. was looking
solid and rode consistently to round out the
top five in the Open Pro-am class.
