Aaron Meyer held onto the 3rd spot in
Moto 2 after suffering a DNF in Moto 1 |
Meanwhile, Joe Haavisto would have to work his
way past Polaris mounted Aaron Meyer in the second
moto before he could begin his pursuit of the
leader. After getting around Meyer, Haavisto cruised
to an easy second place finish, which allowed
him to maintain his pro points lead.
Jason Connell was looking strong as he battled
it out with Myles Santaniello and KTM’s
Nate Morello in moto one. Although Connell was
on Santaniello’s heels, he was not able
to get around the number 44 Honda, leaving him
to settle for a fourth place finish. In moto
two, Connell came off the line in fourth place
and held his position all the way to the checkers.
Connell’s consistent 4-4 finishes put
him in the number three spot for a Kawasaki
dominated pro podium.

Nate Morello rounded out the top five in the
Open Pro class. Rocco Arno, Jr. had a slow start
in moto one, which gave him a 9-7 finish, putting

time of things than in some of the previous
rounds, taking an 8-9 finish to give him seventh
overall. “We’ve been doing a lot
with the bike and trying to get it dialed in.
it’s always a challenge being on a new
bike, but I think we have all the bugs worked
out because the bike was running really good
this weekend,” stated Pomeroy.
Vincent Mofford ended his day with a 7-10 finish,
putting him in the number eight spot, while
Aaron Meyer and Michael Pilotte’s moto
one DNF’s had them finishing in ninth
