Mickey Thomas recorded his second consecutive podium after finishing second in Round one. He trailed Bradbury through the waning laps, and held on for third.

“David got us on time, but this should put me first in points,” said Thomas. “Cody and I battled throughout the race. This is the roughest track I’ve seen out there. They shortened the track, so that made for much bigger ruts and a lot more whoops, so I was focused on keeping the car together. Overall I’m happy with how we finished. Coming out here, finishing second then third and now first in points. It’s pretty good.”

Ryan Piplic finished in the fourth spot, and Mike Gardner rounded out the top five in the Pro UTV class.

In Pro Stock, Codey Rowley bested his second-place finish in Round 1 to win Round 2. Dustin Nelson finished second, followed by Corbin Leaverton.

“I was scared coming into this race because the track was shortened and I knew it was going to be a lot rougher than in the past,” said Rowley. “I just wanted to try to finish on the podium, collect points, and make it to the next round. It was pretty gnarly at the start and I’m happy we won.”

Dustin Nelson started on the fifth row overall and the third row in the Pro Stock Class in his newly race built IMG Yamaha YXZ 1000.
