Danielle Weatherly captured the holeshot in the Women's class as well as her second win of the year at WORCS Round 2

“I pulled the holeshot and pulled away from there,” said Weatherly. “I was just trying to stay calm and remembering to breath. It’s just awesome to come out and get a second win. This is my favorite track all year. It was pretty challenging, but a lot of fun.”

Bash recorded her first podium, finishing just behind Weatherly. She is running a new Yamaha. She took over second for good when Katie Vernola dropped out of the second spot with mechanical problems.

Elizabeth Bash WORCS Racing
Elizabeth Bash finished second in the Women's Class in her Yamaha YXZ

“I’m not a real jumper, so this track suited my style much better,” said Bash. “The Yamaha is an awesome car. Yamaha helped me out this year, and the car is just so durable.”

Jennifer Broughton WORCS Racing
Jennifer Broughton claimed her second podium finish this season by finishing third at Buffalo Bills WORCS in the Women's SxS Class

Jennifer Broughton claimed a top three finish, which now has her in a three-way tie for the second spot in the points championship with Elizabeth Bash and Sierra Romo.

In the SxS 1000 Stock class, Shelby Anderson netted her second consecutive win. Gilbert Flores and Dean Wheeler rounded out the top three. Anderson held off Flores throughout the race to record the victory.

Shelby Anderson grabbed her second win this year in her Walker Evans Polaris RZR in the SxS 1000 Class

“This has always been a rough track for us and we’ve never really had good luck here,” said Anderson. “I actually started the race in two wheel drive. I realized that on the second lap and put it into four-wheel drive. Gil Flores was bumping with me all race. I actually didn’t think I was going to be able to hold him off until the end. I’m proud of myself and of my team for the back-to-back wins.”
